Empathy Test is an independent London electronic pop duo consisting of childhood friends Isaac Howlett (vocals) and Adam Relf (production). Inspired by ’80s Sci-Fi soundtracks, ’90s guitar bands and underground UK dance music, the pair have an uncanny ability to write catchy pop tunes with intelligent, emotional lyrics and marry them to stunning, cinematic soundscapes you can lose yourself in. These tunes have been captured on the outfit's twin debut albums, Losing Touch and Safe From Harm

Clash described their music as “gorgeous, sumptuous futurepop”, while Line of Best Fit said it “wouldn’t sound out of place snaking into the soundtrack of Netflix’s Stranger Things”. Empathy Test performs live with the help of Christina Lopez on drums and Samuel Winter-Quick on keys.

MAN WITHOUT COUNTRY the musical moniker of Welsh native musician, vocalist and producer Ryan A. James. MWC first emerged onto the scene in 2007, originally as a duo, and momentarily as a trio. The project went on to produce two-acclaimed studio albums; Foe and Maximum Entropy under Cooperative Music (Universal / PIAS), before facing a number of personal and industry pressures which subsequently led to a drawn-out hiatus.

James made his comeback in late 2017 with a double A-sided single, aptly entitled ‘Lion Mind / Jaws of Life’, which received the support of Metro, It’s All Indie, BBC Radio Wales and WalesOnline - to name a few. Following this, he launched a successful album crowd-funder with PledgeMusic.

Man Without Country’s new album Infinity Mirror, which includes the stunning singles ‘Remember the Bad Things’, ‘Lafayette’ and ‘Achilles’ Heel’ is out now via Killing Moon Records.
