Nature Of Wires
Originally formed in 1986, until 1994 original members Andrew Stirling-Brown (vocals) and Gary Watts (synths & programming) toured the UK and released music that captivated fans with their melodic but muscular take on the synthpop sound that was popular at the time.
The past couple of years has seen the band go from strength to strength; writing new music, developing intricate and dazzling live shows with the help of Tim Powell-Tuck (live electro-drums) and Sarah Bouchier (aka Lady B) on vocals. NoW has also developed a strong reputation for their remixes for scores of artists including the likes of Sigue Sigue Sputnik Electronic (UK), In This Mode (AUS), Advance (UK), Precog (USA), Massive Ego (UK) and Leaether Strip (DK). Appreciating the work of a diverse range of other artists too, the band has covered tracks by the likes of The Beach Boys and Eric Clapton(!!), as well as more typical electronic acts such as Kraftwerk, Gary Numan and Depeche Mode.
Nature of Wires have been actively performing live across the UK since their reformation, including a BBC Introducing session, Foundations Festival in Salford, the BBC stage at Tenbury Music Festival, The Castle Hotel in Manchester, the SynthWave Live Festival in London and three Beat:Cancer events in Manchester, Leeds and Reading. In 2018 the band supported Lord of the Lost and Leaether Strip on their respective World tours. Also in 2018 NoW was part of the Ohm From Ohm Tour, with The Frixion, Rodney Cromwell and Vieon.
Aux Aniumaux
Synthwave duo from Stockholm Sweden. Haunting vocals, theremin and synthesizers. Expect Stranger Things and Twin Peaks vibes.
Fourth Engine
Modern synth pop for the disaffected. Bristol based duo, easily bribed with tea and cake.
